Mustang Island Beach Camp #3

This post features photos I "borrowed" from Christina's blog. She took some great photos of the surroundings. Proving that even though my other post mostly mentioned the hot, hot sun - the beach can actually be quite pleasant - even in June.

Of course we would never have enjoyed being on the beach at sunrise or sunset without camping. As I mentioned before, this time of day definitely makes all the inconveniences of camping worth it.

This collage highlights our little campsite. We had a decent set up.

I love this shot of the kids on the dunes at sunset. They had a ball playing in the sand, searching for shells, crashing in the waves, body surfing, strolling the dunes. I think my kids enjoyed it twice as much because they were able to share the fun with their cousins.

This is a beautiful shot taken early in the morning. The kids hit the water before even eating breakfast.
