Dino Museum!

After arriving in Utah we headed over to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. I'm sure it has a technical name, like Museum of Natural History or something, but to us it is the Dino Museum.

It was AWESOME! The kids would have stayed and played all day...but dad may not have survived that. :)

Some of the amazing exhibits. The kids favorite place by far was the universe room - you walked along a catwalk in a pitch black room that is surrounded by "stars". At first Simon and Oliver were very nervous as it looks like you step into black nothingness. After a time through they wanted to go again and again. As you come out of the universe room you are met with the scenes in the top two sections of the upper collage. They are up above your head and some of the kids were a bit intimated and ducking down to pass by (I won't name names...). Throughout the museum are these incredible fossil recreations of dinosaurs in their habitats. The supersaurus took up the entire room - it was huge!!! Couldn't get good photos of these so you'll just have to visit :)

Our potty train.

There were lots of interactive exhibits - learning and playing - tons of fun.
