Allen's sister, Jill, lives near a reservoir. She arranged for us to use her neighbor's "beach" in their backyard for an afternoon. The kids had a great time swimming, digging in the sand, paddle boating, and rafting.
Gabriel could often be seen hitching a ride on the back of a paddle boat - which was fun but added some serious drag.

The top photo shows Abagail and cousin, Kendra in blue boat - Gabriel and cousin, Hailey in yellow boat (Katrina is hidden by Hailey). These five kids took those boats way out on the reservoir. They really got the hang of it and loved the independence it gave them.
